KRATER

Shadow over Solside
Aimless roaming through nuclear crater of postapocalyptic Sweden

Krater is action rpg placed in Sweden.Yes in Sweden country of Meatballs, snow, mineral resources,
ideal place to go on vacation, retirement and of course living but is this also place for RPG adventure?

Gameplay:

Krater to some extent looks like Dawn of War.Playing with three players simultaneously is designed in a solid way, that works great if you are superior to enemy, and if you are not you are going to have a bad time.
World of Krater is nonlinear, but freedom of research is ruined with completely unbalanced weight of hot spots on map(If you go on some place where game didn't planed to sent you for 10 more levels u are going to be/beaten/sliced/chewed).And the worst part is need for constant change of party(when the standard party gets enough EXP points you have to change them party who have bigger level cap.Quests you get from
many NPCs are usually to get someone or something from cave.
Gameplay score:4.5/10

Graphics:
Isometric perspective, environment, and models based on polygons with medium level of details will visualy disapoint you, but not too much.Good thing is that Krater doesn't require a strong PC(you could play it smooth on fridge or microwave from 1973).All the enthusiasm you get from first 30 minutes of game you lose it in other half hour.
Graphics score:5/10

If you love action rpg,and Diablo 3 bored you
better get a Torchlight 2 and throw Krater to crater.Because good idea is never good enough to make the complete product.
Score:5/10
